Feather Bowling!!

Let’s do something fun and different! Join us for a fun-filled evening of Feather Bowling. The cost is $15 for 2 hours of bowling (4-6 pm) and this also includes Pizza, Antipasti and Caesar Salad! (Drinks are extra)

Let’s Carpool! Meet us at 3 pm in the NW corner of the west parking lot at the Troy Campus, 1825 E. Square Lake Rd. We will leave at 3:15 pm. Please let us know if you would like to carpool so that we can save a seat for you and not leave you behind!  Also, let us know if you are willing to be a driver or just would like to ride along with the group.

What is Feather Bowling??  

Typically played in teams, this fun game is sure to foster an element of camaraderie and competition as the wooden discs roll from side to side of the angled lane to their final feathery destination.

It is best described as a cross between bocce ball and shuffleboard. Participants try their best to roll wooden discs at a pigeon feather at the other end of a trough shaped lane. The object is to have your discs stop as close to the feather as possible.

Teams take turns rolling 12 balls and may knock their opponent's balls out of the way, similar to Bocce. The team with balls closest to the feather at the end of the round wins 1 point per ball. The game is over when one team scores 10 points
