        LUNCH  and CRUISE

Help us celebrate what's left of summer in great style by having lunch together on the pier of the Black River in Port Huron and then taking a cruise!!!

You may carpool or meet  all of us for lunch at the Thumb Coast Brewing Restaurant, 330 Quay St. on the Black River in Port Huron at 12:45 pm.  Then we will board the 73' Huron Lady II at 2:40 pm and leave the dock at 3 pm for an hour and a half informative narrated sightseeing cruise on the St. Clair River and north into Lake Huron under the Blue Water Bridge!

So bring your friends and let's have a great time!!  We'll be carpooling from several locations.  RSVP now and be sure to let us know your phone number and if you would like to car pool or meet us there.

We will be going "Rain or Shine!"

Here are the important details that you need to know:

1.  Reservations are required!  Please sign up by Friday morning, August 19th.  If you cannot attend after signing up, please let us know as soon as possible and get someone to take your place. You will be responsible for the price of the ticket.

2.  Bring CASH for your ticket.  Since we have a group of 16 or more already signed up, the cost of the cruise has been lowered for us to $16 per person. The money will be collected at the restaurant. (cash only)  Also, the cost of lunch is on your own.

3.  We are going to have carpooling from the various campuses:  Oxford, Orion, Troy (Meeting times are listed below) When you make your reservation, please let us know your phone number and from which place you would like to carpool.

4.  Lunch will be at Thumb Coast Brewing Company, 330 Quay St. on the Black River in Port Huron at 12:45 pm. You will be responsible for buying your own lunch.

5.  Cruise begins at 3:00 p.m. and lasts approximately one hour and a half.

C. If carpooling, from which location? (See carpool info below)

D. If carpooling, would you be willing to drive?  (Riders are asked to contribute some for gas)

E. Or would you like to meet us there?

Carpooling Details:

We will be carpooling from:

1. Culver's Parking lot - 4963 Interpark Dr.  (NE corner of Lapeer Rd.and Dutton Rd in Orion Township- one mile north of the Palace)

    a. Meet in the south parking lot that is not paved.

    b. Meet at 11:15 am and we will leave at 11:30 am sharp

    c. Look for an Encore Sign

2. Troy Campus - 1825 E Square Lake Road in Troy

     a. Meet in the north-west corner of the west parking lot

     b. Meet at 11:30 am, and we will leave at 11:45 am sharp

     c. Look for an Encore Sign

3. Oxford at a  Private Residence downtown

       Meet at 11:30 am, and we will leave at 11:45 am sharp


4.  Walmart at M-59 (Hall Rd. and I-94)

          a. Meet in the south-west corner of the Walmart parking lot

          b. Meet at 11:45 and we will leave at Noon sharp

          c. Look for an Encore sign

All riders are encouraged to make a gas donation for the driver.
