Wild Lights at the Zoo!

The Detroit Zoo has lit up the night for this holiday season with "Wild Lights!"  It's a spectacular light display with more than five million LED lights illuminating trees, buildings, and more than 230 animal sculptures throughout the front half of the Zoo.  Experience the magic of the Detroit Zoo in winter as you take in the lights and the sights and enjoy holiday entertainment and special activities for all ages.  Bring your family, grand-kids, and friends, and take a stroll around the park.

Detroit Zoo, 8450 W. 10 Mile Rd. Royal Oak

Parking is $7 per car, so carpool and save money.

There are two ways to get tickets into the park.

1. RECOMMENDED! Discount tickets ($14) can be purchased ahead of time at any Kroger store  and they are NOT time sensitive.   Just go through check out, ask the cashier for Wild Lights tickets, pay for your tickets, and your printed receipt is your ticket to get into the Zoo, which can be used anytime that "Wild Lights at the Zoo" is open.

OR.....

2. At the gate, tickets are $16 each and are time sensitive. (NOT RECOMMENDED since they are only good for that night at a specific time.)

There are multiple places to eat as you stroll through the Zoo.
