Thanksgiving Day
This is the special day once a year, to give thanks for all the many things we have.
Better yet, lets give thanks every day and don't take anything for granted
........like electricity, for example....
We don't even think about it
.....until we don't have it for a while.....
For every breath we take....
or for where we live.......etc.
Turns out, being thankful can have many positive health effects. Studies show practicing gratitude can lead to more intimate and connected relationships, less depression, more motivation and engagement, and better overall mental well-being.
How is being thankful good for your health?
Studies have shown that feeling thankful can improve sleep, mood and immunity.
Gratitude can decrease depression, anxiety, difficulties with chronic pain and risk of disease.
If a pill
could do this,
everyone would be taking it.
